Key nutrition principles
Don’t overcomplicate your nutrition. Follow these simple rules and you can feel confident you’ve got everything you need covered.
- Hydrate. Drink 2 litres of water per day
- Fruit and veg. Get at least 5 portions per day
- Focus your meals around protein
- Variety. Eat a variety of fruit and veg to cover all of your micronutrient needs and for a happy gut
- Eat 2 portions of oily fish per week, or supplement with high strength Omega 3
- Fibre. Make sure you get at least 30 grams per day
